Ok I like the plate cover. After my friend drove by and got a ticket for a faded number plate, I sat down and ordered one of these. The plate cover does the job and looks pretty cool. I don't know about impact resistance, I won't find out, but the plate feels and looks solid. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to add some flair to their car or protect their license plate. Although I wish it was a little darker, no police had a problem with it. It is within the acceptable hue limits and the panel is less visible at medium and long distances but still visible at close range.
