Works reasonably well with specialty tools and gadgets
but as other reviewers point out the bottom is very difficult to remove unless you have good grip strength. It was difficult for me to do, but it can be done. It doesn't look like my husband is having a hard time. We bought this for him so he could have the Death Star in his whiskey but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't put out the ice cube. However, he is still working on making a large ice cube.
