I have a 2010 BMW e93 that only gets 3,000-4,000 miles a year. So 4-6 weeks pass between the starts. Long story short, I'm tired of running it every 7-10 days. After a while that wasn't enough and I got cc id 415. I connected the red to the strut in the engine compartment and the black fork to the nut on the strut mount and that was it. Wonderful. The charger keeps my battery fully charged. I drove for six weeks and when I put my hand on the door the car came alive as if it were a daily driver. Why solar power? I keep this machine at someone else's house, don't want anyone to be bothered by my cables and don't worry about fires or too much juice as the panel can't produce too much juice. I kick myself for not buying it sooner. . No problem in the rain. On hot, sunny days, the machine sits in partial shade and the panel gets very hot, but that's not a problem. A small problem, the cables do not take into account that some people like me use a car cover. So I don't need the included accessories. Also made a tiny hole in the car cover for the cord, if the cord was about a foot longer that would be nice. I placed the plate on the car cover just above the center of the wiper windshield.
