Asked about removing the dusty presence in this one. Got many helpful replies. What I did may seem unconventional and considered environmentally unsafe for my aquarium babies, but they are happy and healthy so I believe it worked like magic and could save you time. Water is filtered through, much is lost this way, but is then added to the tank. It didn't work, it was like fog and I got scared. So I used the hose that came out the doors, stuck it in the side of the tank, let it fill about 3 inches above the filter and used the hose that came out the other side to force water through. My hose was set for a slight squirt to get it moving and held the suction hose up about 3 inches to suck up the mist. I did this for 20 minutes. It worked very well. I slowly filled my tank with spring water like 7 gallons of drizzle, which took a long time but was worth it. The fog is 95% gone and it's only getting better. Slow fill is best, and flush, flush, flush! After the headache, it's worth it!
