Insufficient light output

If you just want atmosphere, this is the place for you. The light output doesn't meet my needs and I think the orange color is part of the problem. You can see the orange flame in the picture, but it didn't help much to understand what the light would actually look like. It's a beautiful lamp, well finished and I would love it in a different setting. The area I wanted it for was a window in a large room where the light from this electric candle could act as a night light to improve visibility in a dark room. It doesn't quite meet that need. I'd love to find one with white light so I'll keep looking.
