Works as intended. Reliable, easy to clean, makes good coffee. We don't disassemble and clean every time we make coffee. It's coffee, not cream of mushroom soup. Just rinse well and dry the pot. It is quite easy to disassemble and clean if necessary. The only catch is that there are no markings on the front of the lid indicating the best pouring position, but it still pours coffee no matter how you turn the lid. just slower. never mind This is a great pot, stays hot and won't break. We have had good results with regular ground coffee.
