Review on Bulova B1975 Chadbourne Walnut Old World Clock: Timeless Elegance and Old-World Charm in One by Marco Gavi

This watch is beautiful. The internal movements are plastic and look a little cheap, but they keep time very well. I checked the call time on the internet clock and it was accurate to the second for SIX MONTHS! The feature to turn off the chime between 11pm and 6am is a great idea. The tones are quite pleasant and have a deep, resonant natural tone. BUT. Shame and double shame on the manufacturer for trimming the tones. Calls don't fade out naturally, but drop out for a few seconds. If the manufacturer was too concerned with the memory needed for the extra ONLY 15 seconds it takes for the bells to sound completely natural, they should have muted the sound electronically. However, most chimes have an abrupt end that I find annoying. They lose a star for their cheap take on the perfect watch!
