Review on 📡 Metra 44-US07R: Versatile Top or Side Mount Rubber Antenna for Superior Reception by Pete Gibson

I installed this item in place of the factory unpowered telescopic antenna. First, the base is straight, with an adjustable antenna angle. My mounting hole is at the wing bend, so I mounted the antenna straight and then angled it up. It really looked awful. Then the reception was no better than with my broken antenna. So I figured it was just an HD radio signal near me. I later bought a factory replacement no power telescopic antenna for my car and it worked great. So I gave it 2 stars because a) it didn't fit me and b) the mount didn't look good. I had to go back.
