The color and design is not so bright, the quality is not as high as other companies

In my photos it can be seen that I use this product to cover 3 large windows in the living room because our neighbor's Backyard both an eyesore and a privacy issue. I didn't want to keep our blinds closed 24/7. We live in a military base building, so I can't do anything permanent. I've used different brands of privacy film and they worked great with good adhesion and no issues. However, this particular product is much thinner, the plastic backing was harder to remove and the product tears easily. I'm also disappointed that the actual leaf design is barely visible. The living room is relatively large and the design is indistinguishable until I stand in the middle of the room. The leaves are not visible at a distance of about 1-2 meters from the window! They don't seem to hold up very well, so I'm willing to add some clear tape around the corners if needed. I went ahead and used them because I didn't realize how cheap and flimsy they were and how flimsy in design they were until I cut a 28 inch piece from the first roll. I really want to close those windows for privacy and peace! I didn't want to waste money on a cut roll and send the remaining two rolls back so I could order from another company and wait another week! Unfortunately, I spent $80 on these privacy films! Now that they're ready (took 3-4 hours) I wish I had the patience to send them back and order from one of the other brands I've used before. BUYER BEWARE! That's "good", low quality is not necessary when there are better brands. If you look at my photos, #1 is the finished product from about 10 feet. #2 after installing the first window from about 5 feet away. #3 is 2 feet away. I started installing them the same way I install others, cutting off a piece slightly larger than the window, water jet installing it, smoothing it out with a plastic credit card or squeegee, then trimming it off with a fresh knife , but the slide is so thin it moved, and I messed up the first cut a bit. For the rest I pressed the edge with a squeegee and cut along the edge. It helped a lot! Thankfully we will only be living in this simple house for 1-2 years, so it should only last that long!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
