The partition works well. I cut it out with a paper cutter because it was easier than using scissors. Make sure that there is practically no gap between the edges of the partition and the walls of the aquarium. It's amazing how little space some fish can squeeze through. The partition is nice and clear. The brackets are blurry and visible in the tank, but not overly distracting. If you hand tighten the plastic bolts/nuts they will be tight enough to hold everything together. Also, you can reattach the brackets/suction cups after inserting the divider into the tank. There are holes all over the partition to provide space for installation and also allow some water to pass through. This allows your filtered water to get to either side of the tank and also reduces the strength of the currents generated by the filter (worked great for my Betta). ok try removing the protective film from the thing (check out the helpful video i made for you if you need help).
