Ordered to replace the original remote control which finally gave up the ghost after 5 years of use and countless falls. The Revain remote arrived quickly, but it was immediately apparent that it was nowhere near OEM quality. At first I thought the remote would not work, but I soon found that the IR beam width is much smaller than the OEM remote and the remote had to be pointed straight down at the center of the TV to work reliably while the remote control The OEM remote control could work almost perpendicular to the TV. The buttons on the remote were also very hard and noisy - there was an audible click when pressed - the OEM remote never did. I am returning this remote and ordering an OEM remote for 4 times the price. The inaccuracy of using this remote just disappoints us - and compared to what I'm used to from an OEM remote - not worth the reduced price.
