We bought the Pure Drop 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Filter mainly because of the price and the dual O-rings on the three main filter housings. Having read many reviews of other similarly priced reverse osmosis units and many water leaks from individual o-rings, this was not a problem. Installation took a while, but is relatively easy if you follow the instructions. The man drilled a hole in an existing drain and installed the included nozzle, I did the rest. We don't use a capacity of about 50 gallons a day, so we change our filters annually instead of every 6 months. Changing the filter was also easy. After a year or so we can feel the difference in the water and know it's time to change our filters. Considering we just ordered a large replacement filter kit for $90 and have 4 more years of use, it costs us $22.50 each after the initial investment. year for better tasting, environmentally friendly water.
