For the money these knives are very sharp, seem to stay sharp well and I like that they come with guards. I use one or the other every day. They serve better than the Zyliss I've had before. *However* there is a design flaw that I would like to fix. At the back of the knife, where the cutting edge ends before the beginning of the handle, there is no roll *and* the end of the cutting edge is not rounded or blunt. This means your hand will slip forward too easily and cut itself on that sharp end (see image if that text isn't obvious). I wasn't sure how much to dislike her for that as if you are careful enough to avoid this and knives are supposed to be sharp after all. But they really need to fix it.
