Very easy to use even for an overweight elderly lady and I can't see very well. While not as technically specific as some gauges, it worked well for me to test my backup battery at home from a mains power source in a few minutes out of the box. Very easy. The wires can be longer. I only have about a foot of wire plus connectors, but that's fine for what I'm using it for. I hope it reads correctly as I charge this 12 volt lead acid car battery that I bought brand new 5 days ago. I use it to charge my cell phone and tablet. I watch streaming videos every day and it still reads over 12v. I'm optimistic. Can't afford a deep battery yet, but a good electrical company. If this thing reads the state of charge like it says so I don't overcharge when I need to hook up some jumper cables to my house battery and charge, I'll be a happy old lady. Take care.
