Mac/Apple/macOS owners beware, don't make the same mistake I made when I bought this model hoping to use it in your Mac eGPU or your Mac Pro. While the 6900 XT is currently the top rated card that works with macOS, they don't tell you that the latest card architecture is based on XTXH chips and macOS currently (at the time of this review) only accepts XTX chips. on the 6900 XT GPU. However, save yourself a lot of frustration, time and money in this grossly overpriced scalper market and check with the manufacturer for the specs of the card you are buying for use with macOS. XTX or XTXH, the latter does not work. Bought and had to return it and cannot use it. Searching the forums, it seems like someone is making this unknown error almost daily. I ended up having to choose another brand and it works perfectly, plug and play. Maybe they will update it in the new OS but right now it's not in Big Sur & Monterey Beta.
