As a military scout, I used this GPS for about two months in multiple training scenarios in different environments and the product has exceeded my expectations. Although its features are a bit limited compared to more advanced models, it is very durable and easy to use. I have used it for extended periods in extreme conditions, rain, snow and temperatures well below freezing, often tying it to an outer pocket of the vest and the garment has shown no signs of wear. It has MGRS (Military Grid Reference System) function, which is easily accessible and can be kept in continuous operation for at least several hours. This allows the user to keep an eye on their position at all times, even in a fast-moving vehicle. I was initially a bit disappointed with the quality of the gray two-tone LCD, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Unlike some other models I've used before, the low backlight was great for night work as it wasn't particularly bright and didn't produce a flickering trail of light that was so easy to follow even with basic night vision goggles. . The interface takes a bit of getting used to, but once mastered it becomes simple and easy to use. My only complaint about this product is that the digital compass on this GPS is not particularly responsive. Overall I found this product to be reasonably priced, suited my needs very well and would recommend it to anyone in the military community.
