I really didn't want to run wires through my car to install a backup camera and this was a great solution to that problem. The fact that the camera is solar powered is great. The camera is adjustable and the included button activates the monitor in the mirror. You can then disable the screen when not reversing and use the mirror/screen as a normal mirror again. It's a great idea I think. Why pay more for a professional wired system installation or spend a lot of time running the cables yourself? It was easy to set up and works flawlessly. I've seen Type S products sold in large retail stores with warehouses across the country. This is not a small retailer at all, but a huge corporation. If you trust this brand, I see no reason why you shouldn't. Feel free to do your research and I am sure you will understand why this is a great brand with a great reputation and amazing products. If you don't have a backup camera, do yourself a favor and get one. I plan to buy more for my kids' first cars in the future.
