I use this material for a variety of things. It works! I drove my Chevy Tahoe to the Salt Flats last summer. I treated him from bow to stern with American Liquid. The salt just fell off and I have no rust. Salt literally sticks to the car while driving. That's the solution, but of course you should wash your car thoroughly at home. I also brought some mini bikes and they were treated with liquid. They survived the salt bath without any side effects. This material will also remove existing rust. It's a great penetrant for anything that's already rusty, and I used it to remove some seriously stubborn screws, just like you might use a product like the PB Blaster. This stuff works better!
