I live out of town so I need a dim light that allows me to see what's going on in my immediate area without the bright, intense light. This light is perfect for an evening after sunset. Depending on how much sun they get during the day, they run out of electricity around midnight, which is fine by me. The best part is that 1) no cord is needed and 2) no trip hazards like the ones you drive into the ground which in my experience always break prematurely. I've had them for about 6 months now and they still work like a charm. They turn on automatically when the sun goes down, so they require no maintenance once installed. I had recently cut the wire on my garland and was happy to learn that they are easy to fix too! I stripped the wires just a half inch or so and then reattached and taped them. Now they're back in action and now I'm buying extra rope for the front yard!
