Microwave seemed fine and perfect for what we wanted. We have an old 1967 house that was remodeled but still didn't have room for a microwave. The size was not too big and not too small. It was easy to use, but after a month the player stopped working. He started spinning in the middle of something heating up. Then it abruptly starts up again. This would cause the glass bowl and the food on it to bounce and twitch. As we only received this a month ago, I emailed the company today. Let's see what they answer. TO UPDATE. you will never believe it After I gave them a copy of the proof of purchase for this product, the company informed me that they would send me another one. AFTER I sent them a photo proving that I cut the cable from the faulty unit! I've never heard of anything so funny in my life! I told them that I didn't think it was good customer service or good business practice to tell me that not only would I have to work on a broken microwave, I would also have to pay to have it go to a landfill. I also told them they made the insulting suggestion that I was trying to scam them about the microwave. I understand that there is no way to PROVE my microwave is defective, but I told them I would send it back (after receiving a new one and free of charge for myself as it is their product that is defective and it's still heavily under warranty) so I can't do without a microwave and don't have to pay the extra cost of sending it to a landfill. Since then they have not replied to my email! I contacted Revain even though it was after the 30 day return window and they were kind enough to work with me. I was also told that Farberware is no longer in business. Use of their company name has been sold to different companies for different products. So a completely different company makes their blenders and not microwaves etc. I'll update again if they ever reply.
