I love the non-slip backing of this 10 inch ruler! I can cut squares for layer cakes

I run a charity and make quilts for sick children in hospitals and clinics. My mom helps me and she likes to sew patchwork bodices from large blocks of about 10 inches. I can quickly cut squares of fabric to mix with store bought cakes for her to sew together. It's great that there is no slipping and shifting like with my previous quilting rulers (which should not be mentioned here). I was so impressed that I ordered a 12.5 inch ruler from Creative Grids for the same purpose.
