Exactly as described

I love Creative Grids rulers - they never slip and are thicker than some cheaper rulers (which means my spinning knife has a harder time climbing the edge and slamming my hand cut). This is ideal for aligning blocks. It came in the original shrink wrap and I'm already using it. I think I'll use it to cut my own 10 inch squares (puff pastries). It will be cheaper and I can make any color I want!

This line works!

I love Creative Grids. Everyone makes each project much faster, easier and more accurate. I already had about 12 square rulers in my quilt arsenal, but I've been using this ruler since I started. The grids prevent the ruler from slipping and the 1/2 inch reticle in both directions ensures precise cutting. A solid black line at a 45 degree angle makes perfect semi-square cutouts. I would recommend this tool to anyone who enjoys sewing.

I love the non-slip backing of this 10 inch ruler! I can cut squares for layer cakes

I run a charity and make quilts for sick children in hospitals and clinics. My mom helps me and she likes to sew patchwork bodices from large blocks of about 10 inches. I can quickly cut squares of fabric to mix with store bought cakes for her to sew together. It's great that there is no slipping and shifting like with my previous quilting rulers (which should not be mentioned here). I was so impressed that I ordered a 12.5 inch ruler from Creative Grids for the same purpose.
