I bought size XL and it is too small. I measured my chest before buying and it is 44 inches so size XL should be correct. This shirt is too small to fit under the hips (I have a 36 inch waist). So now I have a long sleeve shirt and lots of fabric gathered at the bottom waist level. Compared to other clothing, this XL fits like a medium shirt in the US. The quality is excellent and I really wish it had a better fit. The particular style I received is sold out right now, so I guess I'm out of luck.
