I've only used this once so far. I vacuumed the shelf where the old pots with indoor plants were, so in addition to dust, there was also dirt and pieces of gravel. The end of the brush cleaned everything well - good suction. However, it was almost impossible to attach a flexible hose to a vacuum cleaner. The rest of the pieces fit well (note that the straight extension has one end slightly larger, which is a little hard to see - it would be nice if the ends were marked), but I had to use both hands, all my strength, and a lot of wiggling to suck through the flexible hose; It has a comb that will stop it and just fall over if not pushed through. It would be nice to have an extra filter but I think a simple round filter that is easier to clean or a metal filter that can be washed would be preferable. Overall, however, I am satisfied with the purchase. I needed different parts so I could use it anytime anywhere my full size vacuum couldn't go.
