Good universal function control

Bought 4, connected to Arduino Nano and the first lasted about 45 seconds, then seemed to short out and stopped responding all together. Then I connected it to Arduino Uno but it still doesn't work. The second 4-digit intermittent display indicates a bad or weak connection from the factory. Tried the second and it works great with great versatility. Without the defect I would give 5 stars.
