Review on Lenovo 330S 15.6 Core i3 8130U 128GB: Enhanced Performance & Storage Experience by Ryan Selpasoria

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Budget option, excellent performance.

I chose this computer because it has an i3 processor, an SSD, a 15.6 inch screen, a nice dark blue color and according to reviews from other reviewers both the SSD and the RAM can be updated. For €280 it's worth it. It's lightning fast, no problems connecting to WIFI or Bluetooth. The keyboard stretches out at both ends, making it larger than many keyboards on laptops of this size, as others also have speakers at both ends and then the keyboard in between, and the keys are quiet, responsive, and well-cared for. It runs in S mode, but you can easily switch it to Windows 10 mode. This is the first thing I did. Right after I tried to watch a YouTube video to see the video streaming it was horrible. Every time something even a little fast happened, it would blur or the frame rate would increase. However, as it turned out, the fix checked for Windows updates and there were plenty of them. only about 30 minutes to upgrade the laptop. After checking for updates, you need to restart your computer. You will then need to check for updates again and restart your computer. Then run it again and check for updates. After the third reboot, you should have no more updates. After that I tried to watch the YouTube video again and everything was smooth and perfect. I mainly use it for typing, web browsing (up to 10 tabs open at once), and occasionally watching YouTube and Netflix. I also downloaded League of Legends and it definitely plays well. I haven't upgraded yet simply because it wasn't necessary, but if the need arises at some point it's good to know I can't and won't buy another laptop, which creates more waste. and costs more money. Actually I have no complaints. It's everything you expect and a little more for a laptop at this price point. Having an i3 which I believe is equivalent to the 8th gen is definitely an advantage.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So far so good
