Update 5-10-19: After about 3 months of use, the device went out and no longer switched off the heating even if you switched off the device. This used a 750W heater, which surprises me as the unit is rated at 1200W. It worked great for a few months but I can't recommend this product to anyone as it died so quickly. Original rating: This item is excellent for controlling the heating. I have it in my daughter's bedroom as it drops to the low 60's while the rest of the house is set at 70C. It has two temperature settings, a low range when you want to turn it on and a high range when you want. turn it off. The Wi-Fi connectivity is amazing, updating the app every few seconds to know the current temperature in the room and making it easy to adjust the low and high ranges as needed. Also comes with an optional temperature probe about 5 feet long so you can get a fairly accurate room temperature while standing rather than at floor level where the outlet is located. Highly recommended!
