Won't scratch the windshield

My old wiper blades had a high concentration of metal particles. I checked my other 3 cars under a jeweler's loupe and ALL had blades soaked in metal chips. They didn't have those silicone blades. Still waiting to be tested in real rain conditions but the clear water test has proven to be very effective in removing water from the windshield.
