I have an "overflow" refrigerator in a detached garage. I usually turn it off in the winter as I live in upstate New York and the ambient temperature gets colder than the manufacturer recommends for proper temperature control of this unit (55F). I needed extra space for this "fridge" last winter, but I was concerned that it might not keep the freezer at the right temperature, and I physically checked it several times. What a PIA! Enter ORIA fridge thermometer, 2 wireless sensors, indoor/outdoor thermometer, wireless number. I put one transmitter in the freezer and the other in the fridge and put the receiver at home. After about 6 hours the temperature readings stabilized and now I can check them at a glance from the comfort of my home! That's exactly what I wanted! The block works as described!
