Now that it's summer, I'm having a hard time getting my kids to wear anything other than sandals. These are good sturdy children's sandals. My 7 year old wears them now. I think they should hold up well. There is very little visible wear and tear in the approximately six weeks since we received them. These are bands of fabric that are held and not worn on the legs. My 6 year old has the same foot size and the kids tend to wear each other's shoes but don't like how the pattern looks on the insole but the 7 year old doesn't care.
