Amazing results with the right technique.

One 8 ounce bottle makes approximately four 24 x 18 500 piece jigsaw puzzles with 3 layers on the front and 1 layer on the back. We assemble our jigsaw puzzles on a laminate countertop (the sink is cut out) and I've found that I can stick the glue directly onto it and the dried jigsaw glue comes off easily. This is convenient because you don't have to worry; You can also just brush the edges to seal them. I apply with a 3" expensive brush. (Nothing fancy, but if you use a 99 cent shavings brush the bristles will build into your work.) Clean and dampen the brush with water before it dries. I wear apply a coat to the front, pour a tablespoon or so over the area at a time and brush through. It will collect in the joints, but that's good. Don't worry, it's very white and opaque, it will become transparent once it dries. After the first coat is thick enough allow it to dry for a few hours then turn the puzzle over and apply a coat to the back and allow to dry for a couple of hours then fold forward again at this point you can You apply coats about once an hour to get any thickness you want.I apply another thick coat, sand with 0000 steel wool to remove the brush marks and wipe with a very light damp cloth ten cloth clean, then a final coat, very thin with a foam brush, and if there are still brush marks after drying, then a little more 0000 steel wool. At this point, the glued puzzle is fairly explored, but with a slight curvature and a nice glossy finish (about as glossy as a standard puzzle finish).
