These shorts are very light and comfortable, but look more elegant than regular sports shorts. They have a button closure as well as an inner elastic waistband that can be adjusted to get the best fit - a definite plus as my kids are on the slim side and their shorts would fall off the frame otherwise. My son wasn't crazy about the length of these shorts. They hit him just below mid-thigh. I think he would prefer them to be above or below the knee, but proportions are slightly different on everyone, so the fit might be different for different people. I think they look good and would be a great option for warmer weather. They feel very light and breathable.
