When the KPKitchen pancake batter dispenser arrived in the mail, I thought it was an error. I read all the reviews and they were amazing! However, when the item arrived it looked a little thin than I expected. The lowering and locking mechanism is plastic and I was wondering how easy this item can really run and how leak free it can really be. My mind already counted the rating to 1 STAR. The next thing I found in the box was an invitation to register the product, which came with a 100% guarantee that if I ever didn't like the dispenser I could return it for a full refund. This blew my mind as a company that makes a poor quality product would never offer a product guarantee like this. My mind converted the rating to at least 2 STARS. Of course, I would never rate an item without using it first, so today I decided to test it out on our family's Crazy Cake Cupcakes. These are dark chocolate muffins with a very thin batter similar to pancake batter. This dough can be a bit messy as it comes out of the bowl quickly. Well, this little gadget is a star! I pooped 24 cupcakes with no drips. I was able to go back and slightly level the ones that contained a little less batter. They're in the oven as we speak. If you make cupcakes, pancakes or pancakes, do yourself a favor and get this wonderful gadget. I found the lightness of the dispenser to be an advantage after adding the batter as it's not that difficult to manipulate. I have yet to test this with a tougher test, but if I could give it more stars now I would. I also don't know how it will work in the long run, but today it worked smoothly with no leaks. Good job KPKitchen.
