Ideal for Gigabit Ethernet networks

So I recently wired my single story ranch home to Gigabit Ethernet - all bedrooms, home office, HT room, dining room. WiFi router, TV, multiple PCs, PS4, streaming device and FREENAS server connected to it. Basically, every device is connected to an Ethernet port. All of these devices can communicate with each other via a centrally located hub/switch. So my personal home network. A wireless router is, of course, a gateway to the Internet. I didn't overlook the half dozen tablets and phones - they all need a WiFi signal. children's room) two WiFi signals: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a maximum speed of 300 Mbps (N-300). Unfortunately, the signal from this router disappears as soon as someone moves into a different part of the house - there are too many walls in the way and they're thicker than most. I tried using a WiFi repeater that is near the router in another part of the house. house, but he was having trouble picking up the router's signal, let alone trying to pass it through. Kids, myself and my wife have always been disappointed with this setup. Endlessly missing signals and so on. Now, in the dining room, which is pretty much the center of the house, there's this hotspot from TrendNet; Like all my other Ethernet devices, it connects directly to my Gigabit Ethernet network. I bought this one because it not only offers the latest WiFi technology (AC-1200), but also supports Gigabit Ethernet. And the price wasn't bad. I looked at many of these access points and found that some of them have high WiFi speeds of over 100Mbps, but only support 10/100 Ethernet. In other words, the access point's Wi-Fi signal can be fast, but at the Ethernet level it is regulated by the device itself. In any case, this access point from TrendNet works perfectly. It's very easy to set up and delivers two fast and reliable signals - 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The 5GHz signal is amazing; The connection speed on my tablet exceeded 500 Mbps. And I know these speeds will be sent back to my gigabit ethernet network without the access point itself slowing down to 100Mbps. Now the rest of my house is awash with fast, reliable Wi-Fi, and I don't have to listen to others complaining about missing or weak signals. money well spent. Highly recommended!
