This 3/4" Remington Ceramic Curling Iron with Clip Purple CI5019 creates beautiful, defined curls. This is a traditional curling iron with a clip that holds the hair on the flat iron. In my experience, this iron has a few others as well nice features like you lay it down and a cord that rotates 360 degrees so you don't struggle with the cord It also has an auto shut off feature But best of all it has a ceramic coating that releases negative ions when heated releases.. This will leave your hair smoother and shinier. This iron comes in different size barrels for different size curls. The 3/4" barrel makes pretty tight curls, while the 1" barrel (which I also have) looser and softer curls. . The 1 1/4" barrel creates soft beachy waves. I like this iron very much. Heats up in 30 seconds, the hair clip holds hair well. The straightener itself is lightweight, which I definitely appreciate as I have long hair and it takes time to curl my entire head. I also like that you can lower the temperature. You should always use the lowest temperature possible that still gives the results you want to avoid heat damage to your hair. (Also, using a heat protectant on your hair is a must if you frequently style with heated styling tools.) It's not the cheapest curling iron you can buy, but the ceramic coating is worth it for smooth, shiny curls. .
