This baby is HOT and I am using about 3/4 the heat setting. My hair is short but size 3/4 is just right. no tight curl and in a very short time. My hair is thin and falls out of the curling iron when I tug, perfect for me. Love it.

I have owned the 1 inch Remington version of this product for ten years. And it still works. But my hair is shorter now so I wanted a smaller trunk. I love the color purple and that it's an upgraded (temporary) version of your old-fashioned curling iron. I couldn't get any further with the newer ones without latching on to them. It's more my style when I've got the heat to myself. It would be nice if the hand/paper document had an approximate heat output for the curler settings as in #1-30 rather than the temperature itself.
