Bought these flush mount lights to replace a 10 year old 'chest light' I had on my basement ceiling. In fact, I saw the same ceiling mount at Menards for a whopping $149 for 1 ceiling mount! So basically I bought 3 of these for the price of 1 compared to the Menards price. I really like this style and chose 6 Edison bulbs (also bought from Revain). I think these brackets will also look great with standard LED downlights if you need even more brightness in a room. In general, the purchase is very satisfied. I asked an electrician to install all 3 fasteners. It took him about 30-45 minutes. I installed the windows myself, I told the electrician if anyone was to blame for accidentally breaking them, it was me. . Thankfully I had no trouble attaching the panels. Before inserting lamps, we recommend inserting glass. So the order of installation. 1. Mount the ceiling mount. 2. Remove the small screw and insert the glass panes. 3. Install bulbs.viola! You now have a beautiful modern ceiling mount.
