Review on Bettina Mermaid Princess Seahorse Accessories by Jeff Olson

I read the reviews before buying this gift for my 5 year old granddaughter. The doll is great! They appear to be very well put together and should hold up well to use. One of the reviews said the clothes are very well made. I have to disagree. The clothes were very cute and colorful. However, a mermaid's top and tail don't stay on a small doll. They kept sliding. I had to hand sew the bodice to make it small enough to fit the doll. I also had to attach a mermaid tail to the top to keep it from slipping off. Aside from not fitting the little doll well, the clothes look pretty much the same as other Barbie clothes you can buy. The birthday boy and his 7 year old sister had a lot of fun playing with them.
