I bought this product to replace an older model in my motorhome that probably lasted at least 8-10 years. Mine has been installed for over 10 months and is used daily. I haven't had any issues since installation and if the previous model can be purchased I expect it to last at least 5-7 years. Given the risks associated with poor quality RV electrical products, it pays to buy a brand that has reliable customer reviews. I bought another converter which failed 4 days after installation and cost about the same. The seller did not take the product back to get a replacement from the manufacturer, but left it to me. When I was looking for a brand they had a terrible track record of failure. why someone glued them so it's me. Whatever you buy, take the time to read the reviews and see who has the biggest flaws.
