I bought this to put in my tool box so I can use it to hook up to my Dewalt power plant that you connect four Dewalt batteries. use as a charger, but also disconnect from a power strip and use battery power as an inverter to power things like a fridge during a power outage. I wanted to be able to power not only household appliances but also mobile phones and tablets and I bought this device because it has multiple USB ports. So from my testing my charger can be used to power my fridge, tablet and mobile phone for 4 1/2 hours with two 9Ah batteries and two 4Ah batteries. It's almost like a generator. I also plan to use this to power my phones and tablets when I'm on the go.
