I'm blown away by how comfortable these shoes are. I wanted these for my mom who needed a good pair of walking shoes. She has wide feet and suffers from fluid buildup in them and in her ankles (gout and arthritis). Needless to say, we sometimes have a hard time finding shoes that are forgiving. Men's shoes tend to be made wider, so that's where we looked. These amazed me. I wasn't expecting such a thick and foamy sole. i mean wow They are really good to walk on. The foam cushions your feet and provides ample support instead of just fully yielding to your body weight. They are true to size because we got a 9 and they were a bit big. We didn't expect them to be so wide, so we increased the size. My advice on this is to order your true size first. That doesn't mean you don't have to come back, but that was just our experience with them. If you insist on increasing the size, you may need to wear thicker socks. I know my mother will.
