Exactly what my son needed for his project and despite lots of holiday mail we received the package ONE DAY EARLY (than planned). To be honest, that's what impressed me the most.

We bought this series and two others of the same brand. Our 14 year old grandson loves to build from his own ideas rather than from a kit with instructions etc. They appear to be compatible with other Lego products he has.

This third party set represents very good value for money. Unfortunately, the pieces aren't exactly the same size as the actual LEGO gears - they all appear to be slightly larger than the actual LEGO pieces themselves. The end result is extra friction as these gears work in a LEGO creation. To be clear, these pieces technically match LEGO pieces, they just don't connect as smoothly (and the gears don't spin as smoothly when multiple gears are connected) as the real LEGO pieces. I bought a set of these parts along with every other set from Loongon's Technic line. These parts are truly fully interchangeable with well known brands of Technic parts. Most of the details will even pass as brand names. If you're looking to start building a collection or building your own cars, this is a great way to get started. The picture of the parts does not convey this kit. For the price you really get a lot of parts for a fraction of the price and all parts are "cool" and USEFUL parts.
