This 1080p rear view camera is designed for RV and RV use. I decided to install it on my 38ft bumper trailer. At first I thought the installation would be easy. However, it turned out to be a bit more complicated than I thought. However, it only took me 90 minutes to install the wiring and troubleshoot the wireless signal on my pickup truck's cab. Generally this signal travels about 55-60 feet from the back of the trailer to my cab; pretty impressive! You can see in the pictures, the first thing I did was roughly wire it up and make sure I had good power. I tied mine to my running lights because it was right next to the license plate and easy to access. Experience has taught me that testing the camera is the first important step. The original image cropped a lot. I noticed that the connection between the camera and the transmitter had loosened a bit. I reinstalled the cable and the picture improved immediately. Lesson learned, check all your connections from A to Z and don't assume anything. The camera is solid and easy to set up, the monitor is a good size (5 inches) and supports 2 channels, which will come in handy in a caravan (if I order another camera) as I can get multiple images of where I am supporting this thing Overall I'm very happy with my new camera kit!
