Review on ๐Ÿš— Husky Liners 58446: Black Custom Mud Guards Set for 2015-2019 Ford F-150 (No OEM Fender Flares) by Francisco Taylor

Complicated installation, missing parts. Drilling is required for secure installation.

Fenders look good after fitting. That's the only good thing I can say about her. I ordered front and rear fenders. Both caused headaches** during installation. The box comes with a paint protector that you apply before you attach the flaps. Both pairs of protectors were only partially scored, so neither came off cleanly when I tried to remove them to put them on. This material is quite difficult to work with, but when it stretches and/or tears because it wasn't cut properly, it's frustrating. One of the front treads wasn't serrated at all, so I had to cut it myself. I was drawn to the idea of attaching fenders without drilling holes, but the clips that attach the flaps are very awkward to use. They all required significant flex to fit, and even if they don't inspire confidence. Worse, the clip in my package was shorted. I almost decided I needed to drill and bolt on the front shields before winter. They are attached with double-sided tape and the famous binding clips. The backs are a little tighter since you use two screws in a normal installation. (The third screw that requires drilling is optional.) The included instructions are rather cryptic and only moderately helpful. If I hadn't watched the installation videos online I would have been lost. I was planning on buying some Husky fender liners as well, but after my experience with these fenders I'm seriously considering it. I don't think I can recommend this product. If I had to buy fenders again I would probably look at Weather Tech or another brand.
