When I received my package I was concerned because I could smell the fragrance through the packaging. However, I insisted because the scent sometimes softens with washing. For the record, I've used unscented cleaning products for years, so I can be very sensitive. I washed my bike gear and workout towels. Small load, normal wash, a drop. The suede leather of the cycling pants looks clean. No sustained BO. But maybe I can't tell because the scent is overwhelming. I would try again without the scent.
