A simple solution to the leakage problem!
We also had serious leakage problems on first use. Then, after repeatedly trying to unscrew the lid and not leak, we stumbled upon the secret! Put the lid on, slowly turning to the LEFT first. You will hear a click and feel the lid drop and lock into place. Then twist it to the right as usual to close it. Voila! ZERO leakage! It would be nice to have some instructions so you know how to do it, but now you know. The lack of instructions is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.
