The quality of these lights is good. I really like the ribbon style and the way it comes on a roll. Very easy to use. I have them displayed in my art studio. The lights are not harsh but can be very bright. The instructions are awful and with all the choices of settings, I needed help. But I was able to find the answers online. Just took awhile. The plug is a USB. For me, I would prefer a traditional plug with a longer lead of cord before the lights start. I need an extension cord and I really don't like all the things plugged into each other. And it is hard to hide the USB adapter. It just looks bad. These lights don't come with that adapter either. Over all, I would look for a reel with a traditional plug, but if that isn't an issue for you, then I would recommend these bright beautiful lights.
