Review on 🔧 MotorGuide Shock Absorbing Mounting Isolator Kit - Protect Electronics with Corrosion-Resistant Bolts - Set of 4 by Jerome Brooks

Excellent product! There was an old MotorGuide that failed on my '88 Bayliner and recently replaced it with a Minn Kota Maxxum. I read some reviews that said they fell apart or didn't hold the trolling motor in place properly. The MotorGuide originally had the same fasteners and never gave me any problems, but unfortunately none of the 1988 hole patterns matched so I had to drill new holes. To be on the safe side I used 4 of these and drilled smaller holes for the other 2 bolts and made a direct connection with just the bolts, washers and locknuts, using two old rectangular washers from the old brackets as spacers . I've gone out 5 or 6 times since installing it and it's rock solid!
