I've spent the last 24 hours with him at work and at home. I have ridiculously long days and try to limit the vending machine at work. The base of this thing is wide, it won't fit in any of your cup holders, but it was on the floor. My car didn't explode on the way to and from work. It held the same ice from the start of the day to the time I'm writing this review and could have run a lot longer. The lid is excellent, I hope it lasts a long time, it does not flow into a gulp on the edges with a strong capsize. The option to use a straw hole or sip/nickel holes is pretty good. The handle wraps around the cup itself and installs with friction rather than a crappy mechanical joint waiting to click, and it feels very solid. with a bent and damaged straw that failed, but it's the biggest cup I've found and it's not the size of a small dog. It's wide and low, making it easy to carry around throughout the day. Too bad it didn't arrive with a broken straw. I think I've found my new favorite mug!
