This thing is thin and works pretty decent. Pros: - High refresh rate - Good color - Fast response time - Feels solid Cons: - 165Hz has a frame drop that looks more choppy than 144Hz, causing the screen to flicker. This is easily fixed (assuming you have the right amount of power over USB-C) by unplugging everything, plugging in USB-C (power), waiting for the display to turn on, then plugging in HDMI. The speakers are quiet. Attached are photos of a frame drop test on this monitor. At 144 Hz and below you can see that there is no break in the line of white squares. At 165Hz you can see gaps - a series of white boxes that indicate dropped frames. This is a pretty big problem, especially since it's advertised at 165Hz. 165 Hz "works", but much more erratic than 144 Hz.
